Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs how operators and end visitors may use the Peptoidchatbot platform, the WordPress plugin, the hosted dashboard, and the APIs (the “Service”). It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited activities

You may not use the Service to:

  • Bypass our caps, rate limits, or authentication.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the system prompts or model behavior.
  • Index content that infringes third-party rights or violates law.
  • Use the chatbot to provide medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.
  • Use the Service for sites primarily targeting children under 13.
  • Send spam, harassment, or misleading content through lead capture or webhook integrations.

2. Compliance with provider policies

The Service relies on Anthropic's Claude API and OpenAI's embedding API. You must not use the Service in any way that violates the published acceptable-use policies of those providers, including the prohibitions on generating illegal content, sexual content involving minors, weapons or critical-infrastructure attack assistance, or content designed to deceive users about its origin.

3. Regulated products

Peptoid is built for stores that sell regulated products. You remain responsible for ensuring that your storefront, your custom answers, and your sales flows comply with the laws and regulations of every jurisdiction in which you sell. The compliance layer reduces risk; it does not eliminate it.

4. Abuse and security

Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service. Do not attempt to access data belonging to other operators or visitors. Do not interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

5. Reporting

To report a suspected violation, email support@peptide.bot with the domain, an example, and any supporting context.

6. Enforcement

Violations may result in warning, temporary suspension, or termination depending on severity, recurrence, and willfulness. We reserve the right to terminate the Service immediately for violations that risk harm to visitors, operators, or our infrastructure providers.
